The Suffering of Ukraine

You may remember, I traveled to Romania and Moldova just a few months ago, and our hearts were overwhelmed with the love of the women there. I have also traveled in Ukraine, as it was the birthplace of the adoption movement worldwide. Ukraine has been the “shining city on a hill” where the spirit of adoption has impacted the world over the last 15 years.
Now, we watch in horror as our friends are hiding in bomb shelters and fleeing to preserve the lives of their children.
More than 368,000 Ukrainians have fled the country, according to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. Many are pouring over the border into neighboring Moldova. (Ukraine is the size of Texas, and Moldova the size of Maryland).
We have an amazing ministry partner in Moldova. The leader, a mighty woman and Second Mother, is mobilizing their network to receive the women and children who are traveling alone, arriving at the border hungry, cold and without a place to sleep.
Here is what you can do about it NOW.
We are rushing emergency funds to the border to meet these needs.
- Your funds will be immediately sent without overhead.
- Your money will help a woman and her children get critical food, medicine and shelter.
- You will have helped mothers in this terrible situation! You can give a tax deductible gift here.
